Nice one! I'm always on the look-out for something I can convert into a comlink (like a gillete lady-shaver).  Bluespike: When the day comes, mine will definitely be getting a Covertech wheel.   (More than just 'looks like', we know this is what it was made from) |

Nice. Though I would get a men's Gilette thing. Didn't know that's what you could use to build coms out of. Makes me want to pull one off. I'd do mine movie accurate though.

I think Padawan's Guide used to have some info on those things, but I'm not sure. I haven't been over there in a long time. Cheap way out would be to just track down and buy one of the old Episode One Comtech Chip readers. A little bulky, but they actually look pretty decent aside from the thickness. @Ben: NICE WORK! That looks sick, Dude! Very OT style. Almost looks like you made it from a retro mike instead of a flash! Very cool weathering job too. Love the little knob thing on there. |
