I think Ultra has already done this in the past (look at the "Ultrasabers History" thread)
But, if you're talking about having a curved blade, I'm curious too ! (for a more Katana-looking saber, great with the hilt ultra posted picture about)

Meh... Forgive me, but curved blade are not a thing that I would think of. It should be nice, yeah, but even a straight blade is difficult to theorize for a lightsaber, so a curved one... Not sure. But I'm sure it would look amazing if it cames from US  |

The problem with a curved blade would be getting the light to go all the way through it. You could do it with an LED string blade.  |

The problem with a curved blade would be getting the light to go all the way through it. You could do it with an LED string blade. If you could get a curved Ultraedge it might help a little bit but Warlock Kush is right that curve makes it rough. |

I Would Love To See This Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Though simply because of the curved blade of a Scythe, I don't know if this could be done as a "Believable Weapon" (God Knows We All Know Lightsabers Aren't Real, but We Do Like To Pretend !!!!!!!!!!! and My Anylitical Brain Would Never Let Me Hear The End of This One lol ) |

lol When i get my Phantasm staff (it may be the second one cuz i want one in blue too XD) its gonna be in VA cuz i wanna make a Gundam cosplay of the original MS that Amuro Ray used . can someone also post a link to the Ultrasabers history page? i cant find it cuz im stupid lol. |

I don't know much but considering the way lightsabers work, realistically you couldn't do that I don't think. When I say realistically I mean Starwars. I am sure some awsome ones could be made in this RL though.
