ultra edge 1 inch blades

I received my first ultrasabers saber with a 1 inch ultra edge blade.
I have 2 other lightsabers that all accept 1 inch blades. The ultra edge blade will not fit into them even though my other 1 inch blade does.

Are all ultra edge 1 inch blades normally slighlty larger than 1 inch, or is my ultra edge blade abnormal? I tried sanding the on end but it still does not fit. I did not want to sand too much since it seems to be disturbing the inner film layer.

Yeah, my UE is SLIGHTLY larger than 1 inch diameter as well. I think that's normal. I've heard it said that sanding is the way to fix it if it's too tight, and if the film comes loose you just have to hot glue it back to the blade and clean away any access glue. Oh, and of course, ya gotta be careful that if the film comes unglued it doesn't slide out or move around too much. I'd try holding it in place with a finger inside the blade if you can, then just sand away.   Hope that helps!
