Hi saberforum

I recently acquired The Malice Saber. As Emory said, "It's a Beast" and it is 100% beast! Anyway I notice when handling the hilt. The hilt was very heavy and may slip when dueling the saber. It felt it need some sort of grip. I look around in saberforum and found out hockey tape would be a great choice because it is easy to apply and doesn't add more bulk on to the hilt.









I also hockey tape the Manticore staff hilts with white hockey tape and it looks fantastic.

When I wrap the hilt, I wrap and pressed into the creases around the switch then I used a Xacto knife and carefully trimmed off the base of the switch, then tuck/pressed the excess tape under and around the switch. =)

I was thinking of doing something similar but in camo form wrap
