Hello,
We received our two sabers yesterday afternoon, the Graflex SE (arctic blue) and the Arcon (violet) v2.1 - love them (!). I read as much as I could find, watched loads of YouTube videos, and when they arrive, they were just what I expected. They arrived within 3 days of ordering and very well packed (with everything I ordered). I wrongly assumed that the $1.00 tools necessary to remove/tighten the blade would be the same (for both Sabers), I only ordered one for the Graflex. My fault; perhaps tools should be included with all sabers (not a big deal). When I unpacked them, I gave the batteries a full, initial charge; we experienced quite a lot of play time on the charge. The LED that runs through the blade is super bright; the brightness can really only be truly appreciated in the dark, however surprisingly impressive in a well lit environment. Very cool. I love the feel of the handles, very well designed and machined. Internally, the wiring looks very clean and professional. Overall, the weight is good; good balance between the handle vs. blade. The sound is amazing - very crisp, and the effects - swooshing, clashing, etc. - very responsive and cool. The blades seem very durable (and they fit very securely in the handle) - admittedly, durability was one of my concerns; I imagine they will withstand more stress then I will ever put on them. I would recommend ordering sabers with sound as in my opinion, that is half the fun. Good job US.

Nice review, and I'm glad you're enjoying your sabers! Are you a clean cut Jedi, or does the Dark side beckon you...? (So I can give a point)

Nice. Hope to see some pics of both sabers. =] Always a fan of the classics. Did you go classic or regular Archon pommel? Were the bunny ears on your Graflex loose at all like some people say?

I went with the Classic pommel; looks great. I read the same thing re: loose bunny ears, mine was very secure.

Hi-- I am new to sabers and this forum. I could use some advice... I am trying to decide between these two sabers, (Archon 2.1 and Graflex CE) and can only $ choose one, not both. Can anyone advise me of the location (inches from emitter end, e.g.) of the center of weight/balance point (with mid grade blade)?
Where on the hilt does it balance in your hand when the blade is in? (both Archon and Graflex, if you know both)...
Thanks for your help,
apprentice Eero
