Thanks. Yeah, its pretty cool. The VA looks much better in MidGrade... But I think two Yari's and 24" will look/feel better. |

Great minds think alike - although your photos are better than mine! If you have a look here http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=19370.msg301059#msg301059 I was experimenting with extensions on my Raven, too. I'd agree with the suggestion that a shorter blade would be good with a longer staff - for two extensions, I think a 24" blade would suffice. A 36" blade tends to wobble a bit at the end and loses a little control. I put one extension on my small-clawed Malice, like your Raven above, when I got it and it hasn't been taken off yet. I have a 40" blade on that one, so there's as much blade as there is hilt. I think this set-up improves the balance visually, and definitely spreads it physically. Plus, as you'll find with your Raven, it gives you reach advantage, leverage and a damn cool looking saber! |

That Raven Staff looks awesome, and I'm thinking I'm going to need to add a Yari in a future order. I think a Dark Catalyst or maybe a Consular pommel might suit the extension nicely. Not sure if this will work since it's an image from FB, but...  If it doesn't work let me know and I'll put it on Photobucket if anyone wants to see a Raven with a DC pommel |
