I hope you don't mind, but I am once again inspired by you and may use your belt build for a reference to my own build that I would like to do soon. I especially like what you did with the pouches. I personally like to have pouches that are both consistent with the Star Wars universe and are fully functional and of quality, particularly to actually hold my belongings at conventions, events, and charities.
You wouldn't happen to have any patterns you based it off of by any chance or was it pretty much in the head?

Waxman, I have a little sketch of my plans but I just used a carpenters square for "mapping" out on my leather what I wanted to cut. Tomorrow maybe I'll get a pic up, been a long day today and I'm just not up for finding it at the moment. But please be inspired and take what you can from my work! Plagiarism is the highest form of flattery! Oh I can say one thing that helped out tremendously was watching as many tutorials from tandy leather website as I could. I'll follow up tomorrow for sure! Thank you all

I bought I from my friendly neighborhood tandy leather factory shop. They were very helpful in getting me back up to speed on my rusty leathercraft skills. A bit expensive but worth it for the help and quality of products. |

Alright Waxman, sorry I didn't get this up yesterday, I had a surprise visit to the ER. I'm fine now so here we go. These aren't great plans and they were at times modified on the fly but this is what I started with.  I marked the different sections I was to cut A1 B1 C1, then A2 B2 C2. That may help in deciphering my chicken scratch. Hope it helps and any more help I can give let me know! MTFBWY All. |

Well that's the best way to learn! The folks at tandy leather factory are great and very helpful! Also their website has a lot of great how to videos to get you started as well. I got a lot of compliments at c2e2 this past weekend, which is a great feeling because it meant I actually made it look as professionally done as possible! It's great when people are like "where did you buy that belt man!?" And I'm all like " I made it with my own two hands!!" Hope I've inspired some do it yourselfers out there! |

Your belt turned out very nice. I like how you used the studs in the back as well. When I made mine I used a regular buckle in the back, and a side fastening buckle in the front, so I have two ways to take the belt on.   |
