Ok, so here is my first round of DIY blade plug.  Maybe I'll make more. Maybe not. It's pretty easy, but I need to get a little neater. Practice makes perfect I suppose. Finding a nice metal ring that would go around the poly carb might be nice.

Looks great. Have a point. what parts did you use.

Copper wire,
sewing machine bobin
1 inch pvc clear
some hot glue

total  in parts <$3

I NEVER would have thought to use a sewing machine bobbin... I have HEAPS of old metal ones laying around! I might have to borrow from your idea
