This is a pvc switch plate I fitted with the av latching switch.

You're welcome. I honestly salivate a little every time I see the thread for your Azure Wolf come up. I also have a soft spot for Sentinel blades after playing KotOR II.

Ah! That would've been awesome to go to. I had just moved here at the time so I couldn't make it either.

Relan, I like the design concepts you are incorporating here. I like the shroud with the solid part in the front.

Funny story about how I got the shroud idea. It was actually the leftover sink tube peice that I used to make the belt clip for the Azure Wolf. Because it was too small to fit around the dsi I just split the one end and there you have it. A bad @$$ looking split shroud. Repurposing scrap at its finest.

A little more done on The Infiltrator the drilling and tapping of all the holes. Then test fitting of all the parts. So far so good, although I'm gona have to trim down some of the shroud just to even it up a little .

I haven't decided on what color to paint the pvc parts yet and I'm gona try to find some brass 1/8" button head screws.

Well I finished the shroud and I think I'm sattisfided.
I left it kinda rough cuz I want this thing to look like its been threw hell and back
Speaking of witch I found an interesting way to do some uniuqe weathering. Using a brass wire wheel on my dremel instead of taking off the anodizing it  added the brass powder to the hilt.
And I think I'm gona go with a bronze for my acent pvc peices.

Very cool effect! The brassiness really works with the accents you're adding.

Thanks. I'm painting the acent peices now I didn't have bronze so I went with copper. And once I add the brass button head screws they'll stand out a lot better

After 4 coats of base color and wet sanding in between each then another 4 layers aging and weathering the acent peices are ready for the clear coat. Here they are. The pics don't do justice to how they actually look.

Yes I even dry brushed the switch and bezel.
