I'll be buying me a Skywalker buckle here soon for an ESB future costume. Also could you maybe add a blade plug to match the Graflex saber? Would be awesome. =] Like either ESB or ROTS style whichever style on the main hilt itself you go for. I'm going for classic ESB look when I can. Found my bro's old DL-44 blaster, STILL works amazingly, just needed new batteries, so I'll be trying to pull off a Luke ESB Bespin outfit if I can figure everything out. Like the pouches they used for that certain movie, boots and the covers, etc. I don't have blue eyes though nor can I do contacts. But people will get the hint that I love the classic movies over anything for sure.

Material Renders Now Visible on Product Pages

Wondering what a product will look like in a specific material? New renders are now included on each product page, designed to update for the material you have selected. This is a great way to visualize the final product for yourself and make you more confident in your purchase. Some products also include pictures from myself and others to showcase final prints in certain materials.

I hope this helps those still wary of 3D-printing better understand what they will be getting and allow the rest of you to maybe try a new material that you haven't before.

Shop Updates

I have updated a couple of the models in the shop (pictured above) to better accommodate different sabers.

First, Emitter Shroud 2 is now available in two versions. One is for slanted emitters like the SI and DSI have (this is the one you may have seen on my saber) and the other is for straight emitter sabers like the Initiates, Aeons, and Dominixes. The difference is the placement of the retention screw hole to allow for the lowest point of the emitter to fall near that of the lowest point of the slant of the shroud. I have also updated the Saber Body Shroud so that it can slide around the switch of the saber on the ends, as well as the middle. A second version of this model was added that is half an inch shorter in order to better fit the Initiate sabers and still accommodate an emitter shroud. Both links can be found below:

Simple boxes for guarded switches if we want please? Like if we just have standard stunt sabers or something? And I had another idea for a body shroud. Maybe Obi-wan TPM inspired? Would be cool. =] Not exact replica just inspired. That way maybe I could get me a Dominix V3 and get a shroud to have an Obi-wan inspired saber.

New Emitter Shrouds

I would like to announce two new shroud designs that are sure to add some flare to your sabers! They both exhibit unique design concepts that should satisfy both the Sith and Jedi in you, and the new material renders will give you a better idea of what they will look like printed in different colors.

Emitter Shroud 5 showcases its sinister claws as its main design element. The base of the emitter is rounded at the bottom with engraved accent rings and tapers upward toward the top of the emitter, with four accent slats at the top. It is available in all colors of Strong and Flexible plastic.

Emitter Shroud 6 has an inverted bell design all the way up, which conceals openings in the sides that still allow the beauty of the saber to shine through. This one is also available in all colors of Strong and Flexible plastic.

Yeah I like shroud 6. Would look nice on an Aeon or Dominix V3 saber. =] Like do the original emitters of say those 2 sabers show through the windows of the shrouds or do the shroud go up a bit taller than the original emitter to let light shine through?

The saber body is seen through the windows/slats.

Sedsti's blade plug in my HFX OWK converted saber. Looks great and lets just enough light shine through without hurting the eyes.

Also, do they have a hole in the bottom for inserting an LED? It looks like they do from the 360-view in shapeways.

Thanks! I don't unfortunately. I just ordered the Sith Holocron in Full Color Sandstone and will post pics when it comes in. Which one are you interested in? I can show you examples of how the materials look in the meantime. The renders are very accurate to the actual product, however.
