Hello I'm interested in getting a grab bag saber but needed a question answered first. Does the saber come with sound? The description says it includes fully functional electronics but doesn't specify what electronics exactly. Just needed to clear that up, thanks!
Hi there, for grab bag sabers. It comes with the led light installed with a guarded switch and battery pack (thus the fully functional electronics) Grab bag sabers does not come with sound. Hope that helps! |

stunt sabers are sabers with out sound....just your basic LED wrapped in a beautiful hilt that is chosen at random and shipped out....it is good for people new to the lightsaber scene who want to see the quality of UltraSaber's products.

Sadly no. Sound is an upgrade. You get a random
hilt/blade/color. For a small up charge you can
also pick the color blade.

Almost certainly not. There have been a few with sound (I think Emory said he knew of about 20 or so) but they're very uncommon. You're guaranteed to get a 'sabre that'll light up, turn off, not fall apart in your hands...  Anything else is random. EDIT: Qui-Lar beat me to it... |

Most of them are basic stunt sabers setup so use regular AAA batteries
However most sabers that are used are upgradable to have sound or the Emerald driver if you want to send it in later for US to perform the upgrades which you can do at a later date

Got myself a flamberge which is on its way to me as we speak! you should I love my liberator I got as a free grab bag though I got a yellow blade on mine I'd totally recommend a liberator its very comfortable especially for spinning |

Hi,
Just bought my first 3 sabers yesterday. It's the May 4th promotion.
1. RGB Overlord with sound in BR
2. Initiate V4 with sound in GB
3. Premium V3/V4 Grab Bag - Free with both purchases above
Since i stay on the opposite side of the world (south east asia), it will take a while for it to arrive.
There is excitement in waiting for the grab bag because i never really know what i will get until it arrives but like Blue says, I'm not expecting a Sherman Tank. Will share with you when it finally arrives.
Ooooh.... the anticipation begins...

Hi obi-six. Congrats upon your first order. I have some RGB's as well. It's nice to be able to quickly change the blade colors. What do you mean regarding the RGB in BR ? The Overlord will look good with this and you will love the sound. It also has a really nice windowed emitter that looks great on other MHS compatible sabers. The v4 Initiate is very popular. You will really appreciate the shorter length, lighter weight and versatility of this saber. Then the fun of the grab bag speaks for itself. Please post photos/video and a review of your sabers. Here's a point to get you started.  |

Do the grab bag offers happen regularly? I am planning to get a few sabers but have decided to wait for v4 before I order one with sound. Therefore I am missing out on the current grab bag offer.

Yes, these promos happen regularly. Usual promos include the recent discount + grab bag, discount + premium saber, raffles (always 1, sometimes 2 per season) and special deals where discounts on different options (Emerald, FoC, Recharge ports, RGB) are granted.
So you will surely have another chance to participate in one of these promos after the v4 is released.

Question on grab bag stats. I saw the thread where people are tracking what hilts people are getting. But is anyone tracking what colors are randomly given out? (Obviously that means distinguishing between random color grab bags and ones where the buyer specified a blade color)
I'm just curious if you're just as likely to get one of the premium/advanced colors as you are one of the four basics. Or even one of the forum colors?

so true what you said blue, and I actually did what you said, my first saber was a grab bag saber because I had never ordered a saber from a site before and wanted to see the quality and it was great, so I bought my guardian right after seeing how fast the shipping was and how great the first saber looked .... and ive actually used my first saber (grab bag one) at two conventions and it was great.
