Hi, first time posting and a complete noob.
I'm very interested in buying my first saber and really like the idea of the Grab Bag. Does anyone know if US would ever offer a "Grab Bag with Sound"? Basically take the current grab bag cost + add the cost for their Lite sound card? I love the idea of getting a surprise saber at a great price, but feel like I'm going to really want that thing to make some noise so I can chase the kids around in full effect.

I don't think they will. Point of a grab bag is selling a surprise stunt saber for a cheaper price, doesn't hurt to email them though!

most of the gb sabers can be equipped with sound....why not get one and send back later to upgrade?
I've seen many go this way to get a feel for the product and decide later to go with sound...just keep in mind the lite boards are is severe back order currently.
so it may even be wise to go gb now get the saber quicker and wait till the stock comes back up later.

Could I try to install a sound board myself? Because sending a saber back from Switzerland may be a little bit too expensive... ^^
There are parts for building a lightsaber, and I think there are also soundboards to purchase... should not be so difficult, yes? XD

Thanks or the advice. I think I'd like to avoid the hassle of returning it to add sound. I think I read that can add $200 cost in the states (2 legs of shipping, extra labor to disassemble then reassemble, you are without your saber for extra time, etc). Maybe I'll email them and see if they are willing to add sound.

yes, you can buy the sound board yourself, and I'm sure there's plenty in the technical forum to assist in the install.

Hey, Check youtube for "12 grab bags". The top video is from a guy who bought 12 grab bag sabers. He chose to order one with a 24" blade and the rest standard I think. |

yes, you can chose 24, 32 or 36 and then grade from ultra edge to heavy grade. can also chose your color..so a few options for it.
