carry multiple sabers???

i have considered the golf bag but would the sabers fit decently with blades still on?? plus those bags are pretty cumbersome and bulky but it seems to be the only option

Someone posted a thread recently where they have a long case that would fit 6 or 8 sabers, I can't seem to find it though.  Probably if you could get some sort of rifle case that would work.  I have one of these for my airsoft rifles.  I expect it would probably work for sabers too.  It can hold guns up to 50" long, so with a 12" hilt and 36" blade that should be about perfect.

I've read that golfers aren't allowed to use more than 14 clubs at one time, so I suspect golf bags aren't designed to hold more than that. Not sure what I'm going to use...

The standard golf bag can easily carry more than 14 clubs, that's just a rule, no more than that. You would also have to consider that the blades are about three times as thick as the club shafts and the hilt is about twice as thick as the club grip. Thus the saber is going to take up more room in the bag. I would guess you could fit about ten sabers in a golf bag. If Jammo read this he would be able tell you better, he uses a golf bag when he goes to cons and other gatherings. If you want me to see how many actually fit, let me know, I'll empty my bag and put some in making sure they're not jammed in ofccourse.

Sure, but golf clubs are added to the bag with their handle down and club head up. I'd be suggesting blade down and hilt up. The club handle itself wouldn't be that much thinner than a blade.

I imagine the real issue would be that most bags would no doubt be designed so that the club heads hang outside the bag edge to save space. I'm also not sure whether adding a sock over the end of the saber hilt would be enough to keep them from damaging each other during movement... unless we raid Zoltan's closet for his bubble wrap socks. well  i seen a badass case that could carry hilts but link for it and i forget what thread it was on. I am sure you have all seen what i am talking about but anyways i would assume the company that makes those should have something i am looking for... just trying to make sure i do my first CON right

I made a wrap for mine. A bit like a tool pocket for spanners etc. Got myself some calico and a bit of wadding, used a piece of brown material left over from one of my jedi outfits and sewed the three together. The bottom is folded up about half a foot and sewn in place in a couple of sections down the length to form bottom pockets, the top folded over a couple of inches and just sewn at each end with long ties at the top middle and bottom. I stick one saber in nestling it into the bottom pocket, start rolling it in the fabric, then add the next saber and continue rolling it up til its done and tie it up. The sabers are alternated hilt to blade tip to stop having one small end and one big, and the top pocket is kept folded as I go to stop them sliding out the end should it be tipped upside down. My sabers dont get bashed around together and I have managed to fit my 7 plus two spare blades in there
