Hey Forum! This is my first review, so bear with me!

I ordered an Aeon LE quick ship in Violet Amethyst on Friday, and it got here noon today. Total of 4 ˝ days is FAST, even by quick ship standards. No complaints here, except that it looks like UPS dropped the box off of my roof before leaving it at the door.

Eh, US are more than durable enough to handle whatever UPS can throw at them.
It was a big hassle to get it out with all the peanuts, but they were not going to stand in my way of this.

Came with batteries to, even though I didn’t pay for them (Thanks, Ultra!), and HOLY F*%& this thing is BRIGHT!

Now, onto the body of the review.
Hilt: Wonderful machining and anodizing, very professionally done. Grooves provide excellent grip right out of the box (grooves are cut deeper than I expected, perfect depth for this purpose). The gold anodizing is beautiful, and leaves a perfect window for color customization (I take full advantage of that).
Blade: UltraEdge Heavy grade, 32”. I’m only 5’7, so 36” is a little unwieldy, especially with a thick walled blade. This one balances about an inch and a half in front of the emitter. Very good for twirls. The lighting is very even, and VERY bright. People have said that white poly washes out the color, but after having tried it on three colors, I didn’t notice any difference. The tip lights up more than in non-UE blades, but still not perfect. Oh well, gonna be moving to fast for anyone to notice!
LED: Violet Amethyst. My favorite color is a deep purple, so this was a must. However, upon seeing the color in the blade, I saw it had a more bluish hue. This made me a little sad, but I have since warmed up to the color. Make no mistake, this IS a purple. It is just ever so slightly watered down by blue. Still gorgeous IMHO.
Overall: Wonderful saber for spinning and fighting alike, very bright LED. Lovely color on the hilt, even with no mods. Only drawback to this saber is the lack of sound. Don’t see any way to put a board in w/o some serious DIY, which I suck at. Oh well.

9.8/10
Now, my modification(s). I cut my own rubber grips and applied them, hope to add rubber ‘O’ rings in the future. Not a whole lot done, but it made a big difference.

May I present…

If you have any suggestions for future sabers/mods, or just a question, feel free to ask!
P.S. Ultra, I had to write this THREE TIMES because I accidently hit the back button.

Might want to put some sort of safe guard so you have to double check about leaving, so idiots like me don't get frustrated...if it’s possible. Keep up the good work!
