That new saber looks quite awesome.  

Extremely impressive haul you got there. Don't think I've ever seen a more random or impressive grab bag.

On a side note, I got a reply back from Emory and he said that my saber should be shipped on Friday or Monday. So hopefully I'll be getting entry and prizes early next week.

Hi guys...

My sabers came in today and I'm completely stunned beyond all belief!  I mean first off, my twin 4ch Emerald Dark Initiate LE V3s are everything I could have hoped for...  And they span like a dream!  Yep... Darn toot-en  I took them out and gave them a whirl!

The Initiates however, were not a surprise.  I did a lot of research before deciding to make them my first saber purchase and knew what I was getting.  Their pictured below in staff form with an adjustable coupler...





If grab bag sabers are meant to be a surprise, then this one succeeded beyond all measure.  That is to say, I absolutely love it!  I mean really, with the possible addition of claws and Obsidian sound...  WOW!  It's a War Glaive hilt with what I believe is a Raven pommel and... (Score!) ...a Mantis emitter machine for claws.  

Oh...  And I've decided that I'd deftly like CG!



Now here's the real shocker...  My first place prize is a complete mystery, a saber that I have never seen before...  And I absolutely FLIPPING LOVE IT!

Here's what I know...  Obsidian sound, 2ch Emerald in RG...  One piece hilt construction, and I'm guessing its overall size is similar to the Aeon V3.  I can also say that it is very comfortable in hand, and with the forward choke point, it's surprisingly easy to spin.





Now as to speculation...  I was either lucky enough to be given a one-off, or granted the privilege of being one of the first to test and review an upcoming new release from Ultra Sabers.  Either way, I am incredibly overjoyed with this saber, and will post a proper review as soon as possible.

That must have been an exciting package to open up! Very nice grab bag there and thats a nice raffle prize too! Along with your two new initiates, makes me want the emerald driver even more!! I think i may have to sacrifice my next camera lens for a new emerald saber...

Love those two initiates too with the 4 channels, ive always like the look of black sabers in a purple colour.

When mixing red and green together with the emerald, how good a yellow do you get?my next saber will either have a AS led with yellow colour disks in it or be a yellow led (although possibly now with an emerald driver..), and one thing which puts me off the colour mixing a bit is that some people say that you see the green and red separately with the yellow led modules..

Darn it, I was considering ordering a grab bag with my entry... Oh well, it's cool to see Frankensabres like that regardless. And that new one looks really intriguing - a variant Aeon, maybe? That emitter looks like it must screw off, but apparently not.

Anyway, my Dark Catalyst arrived yesterday and I got some play time in. I'll try and get photos up soon - I'm still not wholly convinced by its looks, but it handles much better than I imagined... and my modifications to it result in a beast of a hilt!

P.S. Prowl, any unwanted hilts, you know where to send them - I'm happy to have a second Shock LE

I dig that, um...Ma...ah...Mantiglaven!  That's a really good combo.  I can picture the US guys sitting around the assembly room going, "ok, let's try this one..."

And that new saber, WOW.  Aeon V4 perhaps?  Somewhat similar styling (and apparently size) but some very nice machine work and great lines!  That will be a big seller; I want one!

I hope you do a review of your Dark Catalyst.  It is a seldom seen hilt.

Seriously though, I'm totally overwhelmed with all the sabers I've received and I'm getting frustrated because I can't figure out a way to play with all of them at the same time.  I know, I know...  boo-who...

The Manti-Glaiv-er is awesome and is most likely in store for some major upgrades.  As for the new saber, it will have to remain a mystery until I can post a proper review.  However, I'm afraid that won't happen until I hear back from Emory with the 411 on it.

It is an easy problem to solve. Get 2 couplers, make 2 staffs, put 1 in each hand. Voila, playing with 4 sabers at once. Problem Solved.  Now the fee for solving your problem will be that fancy never-seen-before saber.

Wholly fart knocker julmax!  What is this madness?!  A premium grab bag, tight!  I love what US built for you.  And your first place price?  Insanity I say!  Crazy getting a pre-production tester like that  
This kind of thing is exactly what got me excited for the Manticore CE which is now at the top of my wish list!  Congrats on being the first for so much coolness!

Played around with the Crimson Reaper for a bit after I got off work!  I love that saber, it is so comfortable to hold and the DVA goes well with the red hilt.

I also got my Shock LE (with sound) raffle saber up on Ebay (I'm not going to link to it as I think that would be rude, but it is pretty easy to find.) I also included a stunt Dominix v3 in BR (Lithium Setup), it's half of my Phantom staff which is a little too large for me, I prefer my Phantasm V2 staff.  Threw in a Black Flush coupler, extra blade, and battery charger too.

I want an Azure Reaper now, I'm having trouble picking a blade color for it though.

I did think of orange for a second being a Florida Gators fan ,  but I don't life the orange blade colors as much as I do others.  I'd consider DVA or VA but my Crimson Reaper is in DVA and I want a different color for the Azure one.

I feel about the anodized blue hilts about how Prowl does about the Monarch, but I think that AS would be the best color for it.  While I like the yellow and orange blade colors, I think that they would look cartoony against the blue anodized hilt, personally.  Now that Grey mentioned it, I'd be thinking, "Whoa, make way for Peyton Manning and his saber!"  Haha.

I know that a lot of people don't consider AS to be an exciting color by itself, but I think it would look good with that hilt.
