Here is a quick video review of my new Dark Mantis and the conversion I did.

I love the look of the New Mantis but it is heavy and bulky in the hands. It can be used but this saber in it current form is not suited for dueling for me. I did however make a few changes and now love the feel and the way it handles. Take a look at the videos to see.

Interesting Modification. I had actually though of this and I was surprised that Ultra didn't bring this out before the Mantis Emitters.

I would hope they start selling that on it's own.

Ive been wanting to buy just the Mantis Emitters on their own for other sabers, mainly because I do not like curved hilt designs XD

They wont sell the Mantis Emitter by itself for a VERY LONG time. I've been waiting for the Reaper since it came out and still waiting. The Mantis just came out so you'll be waiting a bit.

Great job and effort on your customization, it looks really sleek and I kinda prefer it to the standard Mantis.  Point for a job well done Smiley

Great conversion!  Even I would consider owning something like this and loading it.  Streamlined like a shark-eel.  Another point for you.   Smiley

It's all about the Benjamins, and I don't have many, but ideally, I want a Manticore CE in SY with Obsidian for Emerald, FoC orange.
