Hey Sedsti, did I read correctly that you ordered a Blue/Amber Emerald driver? That's an interesting combination. What can you do with that in terms of color mixing? When you mix blue and amber, what do you get...a brown blade?
That's correct. I wanted it for the FoC combo really, but found that when you mix the two channels you get a nice version of VA, which I was surprised to find. The pics are in my review at the link above if you want to check it out. |

All right, you-all ain't gonna believe this... I mean really, I received it and I don't believe it... But lightning has struck twice... And it most definitely looks like I'll be putting together another one of those in depth reviews. First off, my entry saber... A nickel plated Guardian with Obsidian and 2ch Emerald driver in B+G... Which allows me the option to have most of what you might call the primary Jedi colors. Also, believe it or not, you can produce a fair approximation of a silver FoC. Oh, I also need to give an extra thank you to the guys at Ultra Sabers as they shipped it with a non illuminated AV switch at no charge.     Okay, now for the prize saber... And for me to get ready to run, because everybody in the forum is probably going to be coming after me with pitchforks and torches... Seriously guys, I really don't know how I have gotten so lucky. I mean my luck is usually so bad, If I ever go into a casino, I may as we'll just hand my purse over to the nearest cashier and save myself the aggravation of losing.  Any-who... It's an all US produced Obsidian 4ch Emerald, (Thanks for the upgrade US!) with non illuminated AV switch... Wait for it... Darth Maul!      To say I was stunned when I opened up the box is a monumental understatement. Oh, and yes, I have already emailed Deep to see if it is possible to go ahead and get another one for obvious reasons. In the meantime, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude. I mean really, simply saying thank you just isn't enough... But what else can I say, except for perhaps... O-M-FLIPPING-G! Thank you, thank you, thank you thank you, thank you so much Ultra Sabers! Oh poo... Here comes the torches and pitchforks... I know... I can sneak away while I distract the masses with a family photo... he,he,he...  |

Julmax ... luck has nothing to do with it or incriminating photos. So please let's not go there because that is really going to get the pitch forks out. So do us proud by producing another extensive review. Congrats and I'm sure that you will treasure all your sabers and give them a good workout. Is that really the name of this newbie? And please use your lucky charm on US, to give us a teaser regarding when your new sabers are going to be available for the rest of us. Have you started happy dancing yet?  |
