So I have the Archon v2.1 and it is actually fairly new.  I dialed with it last night for the first time and I think the batteries on one side were knocked out as it turned off and if I knocked it to one side it'd. Do the boot up sound.  Anyways.  This made me realize I cannot get my speaker set out.  I do remember TRYING when I first got it only to the same surprise of not being able to.  I also have quick disconnect however the wires are too short and I waswindeing if anyone had an idea on how to get them out. Mainly the battery pack.   I tried pushing through the covertec hole and it didn't work.     Here's some bad pictures of my situation. http://imgur.com/a/G3QWu

Slap the open hole on your hand, then just shake it out.

Hi.  I had trouble getting the speaker out of my Aeon.  Don't know if this will help, but try screwing in the pommel multiple times and notice if some small bits of thread shavings come off.  The speaker was getting caught on some rougher threading edges but once worn down a bit, now slides out smoothly with minimal resistance.  Someone has also suggested lightly filing a minimal amount off the plastic ring housing the speaker ( once you get it out of the hilt ).  Hopefully you won't have to do this.  And like Relan said, don't be afraid to give it a good tap, just make sure that it is a flat one on a softer/cushioned surface and not impacting one edge that could get damaged.  Your pommel might then not connect properly.  Good luck.   Smiley

Thanks guys!   I was afraid to slam it down hard before nd had tried it fairly lightly but slamming it worked.  I think the batteries are just dead so I'll hope till I get home tonight.  Thanks again!

From a standing position and with the blade attached, drop the saber down on a thick piece of wood like the side of an IKEA bed frame or the carpet several times.

This happens often with my Bane and even some of my Stunt Li-ion sabers.  It seems to work for me safely enough.

I'm having a similar issue with my Reaper. It's got Emerald and Sound and the stupid speaker and battery pack WILL NOT COME OUT. I've tried all of the stuff in this thread, all the methods in the video, and it won't budge. I'm at my wit's end here. Are there any magic bullets? Any way to pull it out from the bottom? Anything? (More detailed post on what all I've tried is here: http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=21810.msg333391#msg333391 )

Hi Pika.  Sorry to read that you are having problems with your Reaper.  I have to ask you a really dumb question.  Did you screw off the open holed pommel?   Since you have done all these things, that is the only action I can think of aside from checking that the threading is smooth so the circuit boards and batteries don't catch.  Perhaps one of the boards is sticking out too much.  Hope someone can help you soon.   Undecided

EDIT:  Just read your thread and I see that you did remove the pommel.

Heh, yeah, I took the pommel off. Thanks for the response either way! I replied in the other thread. Still trying to wrangle with the damn thing.

The same thing happened with my Archon, and it got annoying after awhile. I finally took it out one day and lightly sanded around the speaker end edge and it came out smoothly from then on out.
