Got one of them a while back, but I dropped it a few times and the battery pack in the poor thing got obliterated, and since it was a single battery pack, I was wondering where would be a good place to get one etc. since the US site doesn't sell 'em that small unfortunately, it was a AA pack.

That would be awesome, was also curious if there were any sturdier battery packs out there, since the ones in my Tempest also got busted up pretty good, but those are at least still functional.

my suggestion would be to wrap them in some rubber bands or Velcro, these will absorb some of the sock and not allow them to move around so much in the hilt

We moved away from those AA battery packs because they were prone to breakage.  All our new sabers take AAA packs which are much much much sturdier. 

For a replacement single AA pack, we don't stock those anymore.  BUT you can buy a 2AA pack and use a dummy cell along with your Lithium Ion battery.

You can also find a single AA holder at your local radio shack.  They are quite common.

If I were wanting to change it from one AA Li-ion battery to AAA, how would that work, if I were wanting to use AAA Li-ion batteries?
