I pulled out my Archon to play with the emerald driver and while looking over my saber/saber parts an idea hit me.  And I came up with this:









I hadn't really seen anything done with the Guardian pommel ring nor done much with it myself.  But I thought it might make an interesting hand guard for a lightsaber, and depending how it's employed could work on a light side/dark side saber.  I like it.  It's comfortable against the hand and I found that it looks better with the ring "spikes" downward facing.  Well I haven't spun it in this config yet so I'm not sure if it'll hurt or not while in use but I think it'll be fine.

Emitter from the other guys and in SY with FO FoC.

Very cool and creative customization.   I had no idea you could remove the ring from the Guardian pommel.

That is freakin' awesome! Spinning may
be difficult, but the intimidating look factor
is through the roof. I modified my catalyst
by adding O-rings to the main body,but
this is ingenious. Bravo to you, a point
will come your way as soon as I figure how.

Here's a few more, wanted something to show the yellow a little better.





Had a chance to duel with my kids tonight and it handles fine that way.  Tried some fwd/reverse spins and my hand stayed away from the hand guard.  As you can tell it doesn't play well with the hand in this fashion so you may consider looking somewhere else for spinning/flourishes.  Regular crossovers worked fine but anything fancier and my hand slid to the bottom killing the balance.  It's ok, I'm a fighter not a spinner anyway Smiley(and I'm not very good at it Sad)
