Well, all the way across the pond I got my delivery today. No prize, but I do have a stunning new 'sabre in hand, the Menace!   I'll do a full review in time, but this is a quick look.  I ordered the 'sabre in Sunrider's Destiny in order to fill in a gap in my LED collection. But the 'sabre has quick disconnects, so...  ...Hot Pink is an option, among the many possibilities. But, of course, the main colour most will want for this hilt is...  ...Blazing Red. Nice. And as I have a Master Replicas Maul hilt I can confirm that...  ...this is a stunningly accurate hilt, considering the need to accommodate the electronics and everything. I'm delighted to have the Menace in hand. It's one of the most stunning hilts in my collection, and a real achievement on the part of US. |

My entry saber arrived and I love it!   Came with an extra cat head and an extra eye disc too, very nice of US. I'll get better pics up when I get a chance and a review up in a week or so. As a Thundercats fan I am very pleased with this hilt. |

My raffle entry, Graflex CE (RGBA Emerald) with sound in Guardian Blue. When I get time this weekend, I'll add some more pictures with different color blades.  Now my fourth place raffle prize, a Dark Standard Issue Battle Saber with the silver grooves down the length of the hilt and Consular Green blade.  I've had the Dark Standard only a very short time, but I already really like it. It's very light weight and comfortable, especially when used one-handed. |

Let's hear it for 2 day shipping  First up, the purchase - Dark Standard Issue, Blazing Red, Heavy Grade Blade, Obsidian Sound  Next up, the 4th place grab bag prize - Apprentice Sentinel LE v4, Consular Green, Mid-Grade Blade, No Sound  And together:  They're both actually the same length, although the angle of the above picture makes the Sentinel look longer. I like the simplicity of the Standard issue and it feels about like I thought it would in my hands. The Apprentice Sentinel is probably not one I would have normally purchased, but I like it more than I would have expected. The weight difference between a Heavy Grade with Sound, and a Mid-Grade without Sound is VERY noticeable. However, the Apprentice Sentinel is sound capable and the blades are replaceable, so there are probably some upgrades in the future. |
