Ultra Saber Fans:
The Chosen One SE with Obsidian Sound and the Dominix v4 LE have been reviewed but I wanted to add reviews of these sabers to assist any future buyer of these fine sabers.

The Chosen One SE with Obisdian Sound.

WOW! That was my first impression when I hefted up after unboxing it, gripping it, and activating it.
Bright!! The Blazing Red color, even with the heavy duty 36" blade lit up the room, even with the lights on.
Loud! This saber hums loudly with pashion and strength. Can't motive your 3 year old son to get up for school at 0630? Power the Chosen One up. Nothing gets a preschooler moving like thinking that Dad is clearly friends with Lord Vader and maybe...maybe...Darth Vader will make him a Ultra Saber too (Dark Initiate V4 wrapped for B-day)
Point of balance. The Saber has a great feel to it when gripped just belore the black blade emitter. One handed fighting, twirling, to handed grip, with lower hand wrapped around the lower portion of the hilt not a problem. I have medium sized hands, 5 cadet for a golf glove, or 7 for a leather dress glove.

Weight. Its heavier than my Dominx, Initiate v4, and Dark Initiate v4, but not significantly to be a issue wielding it by a long shot.
The Chosen One SE does have a wider grip. The black grips at the bottom portion of the hilt and the activation lever may bother some. The activation leverl can be adjusted or removed. The black raised grips take a little getting used to, but I found them to be a benifit when my hands sweat, allowing my hands to dry out quickly as well as maintain a tight grip.
Contstruction. Solidly built, to include the wiring.
Going Canon? A quick search online will reveal, as well as in the technical forum what you need to do.
Display Saber? Absolutely. This saber is gorgeous and once I get a display stand I will have this beauty displayed in my office.
Dominix v4 LE with Obsidian Sound.
Awesome!! First thoughts as I pulled it out of the box and activate it.
Modified. The hilt came with a AV switch, windowed emitter, covertec wheel and consular pommel. The two tone contrast makes this saber have a real elegant beauty too it.
Bright!! Just like the Chosen One SE, this saber lights up the room in blazing red.

Sinister Sound. Blazing Red, Sith Sound font and this saber looks like something Darth Nihilus would wield.
Balance. Great center of balance, right above the AV switch up to the upper horizontal groove/band. It can be used for one handed combat, but the Dominix v4 LE really feels like a kantana and I feel excels when used with two hands. In either case, I have a real good "feel" of where the blade is at all of the time, as well asawareness of where the point is (I don't have to look where its at, just we always know where our right and left hand is at). You can easily use a longer saber blade on this one if you wanted to as well as use the Vinicius grip.

Construction. Solidly built. Obsidian card is well put together and the wiring is good to go.
I don't think you can go wrong with either of these sabers.
Looks like I am am landing pretty squarly in the Sith camp unless I start purchasing some tradtional colored Jedi sabers. I might have to start asking for Dark Side Points.
