It's me again, Darth Calico!  I'm here to share one of my other creations!  This is a saber that has been pieced together from multiple lose parts.  The hilt, I believe, is a US Overload.  The pummel is of course from the Bellicose and finally the emitter requires no introduction - the Manticore!

I built this saber at the request of my wife as she wanted a saber for one of her Star Wars, Geeked out, friends! Smiley  This saber is a bit special as it has a lot of mods and options.  I threw everything except for the kitchen sink at this one - O-rings, leather, weathering, gem stones, lapel pins, an illuminated switch (purple led), sound, a simulated bone shroud around the activation box, etc.  So without further ado, here's the pics.

In the beginning, the saber looked like this:

Saber with the weird bone shroud thingy (PVC) and early stages of painting:

Pic of the illuminated switch (It's alive!):

Moving on with the build - Leather and O-rings added:

Pic of Christian stencil work:

Close up pic of the activation box (yes that is a lapel pin and gem stones at my wife's request):

Almost done (Frankensaber tired!!!):

Electrical current is working - IT's ALIVE I TELL YOU!

That's right people, the saber has the colors of Frankenberry (pink) and Booberry (Blue)!  Of course, the main LED is pink (my wife's and her friend's favorite color) and we settled on a teal blue (the last pic above) for the FoC.

I know I really committed to the Frankensaber them in this post, so please forgive me, but it was fun.  I hope you enjoyed the pics!

Honestly, this was my first try at a shroud a while back.  I was experimenting with PVC and I saw another custom saber on another forum that had a bone section and I  thought, why not try it!  I just scratched up the PVC a bit, painted it ivory and then filled in some of the lines with black enamel paint.  Long story short, I saw another saber (which is way better than mine) and I went for it!  Thanks!
