So today my B-day present to myself arrived right on time for my B-day!!! Here is my Double bladed Menace emerald staff w / sound! I went with black accent emitters with windows. I just about passed out when I opened up the box! This thing is SO awesome. First I must say the hilt is beautiful on these sabers! Machining is very nice and the finish is awesome this is the SE finish. I'm in love with this saber staff! I added some neoprene o-ring to the hilts.   I decided to go with 36" blades since I'm 6'3" and wanted something menacing and didn't look like a toy. I also went with the standard heavy blades since I want to use it and not let it be just a wall trophy.  Lets see it lit up.... The color looks a little off in the pictures since I set the blades to flicker high .02 R255 to Low .02 R255 W30 G40... this looks so damn awesome in person. I will try to get a good video of it soon. I will not order anything less than an emerald driver saber on all future sabers, since the flicker adds so much realism.    Sound on this staff is awesome as well however I feel I will have to make some sensitivity adjustments. If you are looking for an high quality DM saber... this is it folks. The package weight was 6lbs but that included the free initiate saber. I would guess 4-5 lbs |

All good, appreciate it....... cheers no problem... the other funny thing I noticed about both menace sabers and the guardian I ordered for my wife is that the sound board sticker said USB 4 and both Menace sabers had the same sticker... I still have yet to take time to play around with this.... but its interesting since I didn't request an Obsidian upgrade... I quickly tried to alter the default sound fonts... but the old launcher wouldn't let me.. I will have to experiment with this soon. If they gave me v4 boards I feel obligated to do a detailed review. |

Very nice. Makes me want a full staff but 32 inch blades for full movie style effect I'd almost also have to get sound and emerald for both mine as well. In the future maybe |

My jaw pretty much dropped when I saw the thing lit up. GORGEOUS saber... wow. Happy birthday indeed. A question about the sound on both sides, is it overpowering?

Thanks... not over powering at all. Its nice and loud... the only thing is it needs adjustment so the swings are a little more sensitive.. |
