Since there are quite a few Guardian reviews already, I thought I'd mix it up and show off some of the LED and Sound customization options.
This was my first Ultrasabers purchase, and I'm one very happy customer!! From the moment I first unwrapped this beast, I new I was gonna love it. The v3 Obsidian soundboard is very clear, and very loud. In addition, through the Obsidian Launcher, there are a ton of options, from adjust the swing and clash sensitivities, to FoC, to mixing up sound files and creating new fonts. Also, Ultrasabers has a pretty active FREE sound font thread (
http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=11414.0), where saber enthusiasts can download new fonts to upload onto their sabers. Even though Ultrasabers is getting the v4 ready for launch, bringing multi-font storage and selection capabilities to this line, the v3 is still an awesome sound card with many customization options. I tried to show off 3 soundfonts in the video, but I have installed just about all of them at one time or another!
The Emerald LED driver is also amazing. For the upgrade cost, you now have the ability to have all colors and a multitude of pulse shimmer, FoC, and blade color options. These settings are easy to save and recall. Hopefully, in the next version, there will be preset slots of color settings that can be chosen like the sound fonts in the new v4 sound card, but the settings are so fast and easy to change now (micro USB) that it really isn't an issue.
