It's a "hannya" mask. Or you can say it's an oni, but I found the base mask as a hannya. I'm going to post in the cosplay section later the progress of the painting leading up to the end result you see here. Dark side point for you sir! Dark side point for you too darth logos.

Thanks guys. I handed out some points!

The Japanese flip flops are called "zorri" or "zori". I forgot the spelling. The ones I have aren't really authentic. But they are straw flip flops. The wooden type clogs that Japanese wear are "geta" which is what I would have gone for if I could find any my size (U.S. size 13). And the straw shoes for samurai are called "waraji".

Thanks again P_A you are a veritable font of knowledge Cheesy
I know about footware problems. Im a UK size 12 -1/2 which is pretty much a direct comparison to US 13.
If we had a bottle of warm Sake we could  toast to feet big enough to waterski with or shoes that look like canoe's.
Most footware here seems to stop at uk 12 , so its always somewhat of a lottery.(thankfully my sith boots were a uk 13 so I even had the luxery of some comfy padded insoles lol)
Thanks again for adding to my knowledge Smiley

Here's some pics of me with my Scorpion and wearing part of the Sith Lord costume I'm putting together for later in 2017, hopefully at Star Wars Celebration. There's going to be a lot more to this costume if it all comes together, but that Shadow Walker costume will be part of it.
