You should add an emitter and/or yari extension to the pommel end along with a blade.. you'd have an interesting saberstaff Smiley

I don't like the flamberge as a staff,  however, swap in a couple more yari extensions to the handle and a 16-24 inch blade in place of the 40 and it would make a killer spear
