violet amethyst flash on clash red....

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this.  I am saving up for a new saber and was tinkering around in my head with the idea of violet amethyst with flash on clash red.  It seems all Could find were people who did Flash on clash Silver for the Violet.  Has anyone here done the red clash with violet and if so how did it turn out?

Hi.  If you look at the FoC color chart you will see the violet amethyst flash choices are silver or Bane's Heart bold pink.  This combo looks really good and you can see on YouTube reviews.  You could get a red blade with a violet flash.  I have a guardian blue with the red flash and really like it.  Have yet to get any sabers with the silver flash.  Even though they look great and are more in line with traditional saber blade flash effects, I like different colors.  If you were to get a 4-channel Emerald driver in RGBW then there are almost endless color possibilities in the color spectrum of your choice.  A 2-channel would need the RB to make the colors you want.

I have my Guardian set to a purple with a red clash.   I dig it.  It looks violent as hell.

  The options though have add red for the FoC.  I noticed the chart was posted 4 years ago...are they now able to FoC more colors for VA or are those options just there for looks on the order form.

Hi.  I'm thinking that you are looking at the chart incorrectly as many do.  The chart is old but has not changed except to add on forum colors.

To specifically answer your question.  Scroll down the column on the far left hand side that shows blade LED.  Stop at Violet Amethyst ( this also includes the forum member color of dark VA ).  In that section look across the page to the right and you will see all the possible flash colors for violet in the boxes.  You will find only two options of Silver and Bane's Heart.  If you were to choose a Red blade, then there are five possible FoC options.

Prior to the introduction of the 4 or 2 channel Emerald driver, quick disconnects of the LED or using a RGB saber were and still are fairly popular choices.  In the long run the Emerald is the most cost effective and offers the greatest range of color diversity.  That is how Jedi Nox was able to do purple with a red flash.

What Dauntless said about Nox. You can't get that combo from a regular saber w/ sound.

You would have to at least get the 2-channel Emerald driver w/ Blue & Red for the 2 colors to do that.

If you can afford it (or be willing to wait & save) I would always suggest getting the full 4 channel Emerald as that will allow you to do ANY color Blade with ANY color FOC for $50 more.  Infinite options . . .

I have the R+B driver, so this is how I managed the clash color.  I've also discovered that I prefer a darker version of Bane's Heart to the red, after playing with it a bit today.  It's very startling.
