Summer Raffle 2015 entry and prize saber pics!

Congrats again! I think I mentioned to you yesterday the Scorpion is one of their best Hilts! 

My Dark War Glaive is my favorite overall - but I would say the Scorpion is the best design.  I just love looking at that thing!

Maybe you'll win it's Crimson twin in the next Raffle, then you can switch the inner sleeves too! 

You did and now that I have it a definitely agree, though my Manticore holds a special place in my heart just because of the versatility.

Congratulations on the Prophecy and Dark Prophecy James!  The SRD Dark Prophecy, is the color produced exclusively by the LED or is a greenish color disk used at the base of the blade?  My SRD Dark Prophecy has the color disk.

James, my SRD Dark Prophecy is a stunt saber I received as a fourth place raffle prize last Autumn.  Emory told me at the time that the greenish color disk was routinely used for SRD, but that was probably just for the old LEDs prior to the release of the Emerald driver.

Odd. I had a couple of Sunrider hilts before and both just had tuned LEDs. Not sure why there would be a different way of setting them up.

Ok just received my entry saber, a Consular CG with orange FoC, i asked for a SY, but i guess it wasnt possible. Got the V4 sound and Green AV switch. It's a simple but really neat saber, and very confortable to handle too, really pleased with it!

And for my 2nd place prize..... AN  AWESOME AZURE REAPER!!!!!! when i bought my 1st lightsabers, i almost pick this one up and i am very glad i've got this now, its so awesome, very confortable too. And now the little disappointement, i power it on and.... it's CG too... but i could always buy a new Led and switch it easyly or i could take the GB led from my free initiate LE V3 , i think it would look great with the azure finish too. It come standard with the covertech wheel which is nice, V3 sound and no FoC and i've got a green AV switch on this one too, but hey, as long as i did not get a black guard switch, i'm happy, i hate those lol.

Since i dont have FOC, all i need is to cut the wires and twist them to the other wire right?

Pretty much, yes. But you might want to install some qiock disconnects.. it'll make it much easier to change out the LED again later if you want.

Well, i just tried to take the led out from my Initiate LE V3, but the led dont even come close to get out. So ill have to buy a new led.

You would probably need to pry the switch out and cut the wires from the switch hole.  Your LED should slide right out.  That's what I did when I gutted a couple of stunts that I converted to sound.  I used a screwdriver to pry the switch out.  You would want to tape off the area around the switch to avoid scratching the saber though.

The black guarded switch is glued in it or just press fit in the hole? I'm really new at this and i would not want to screw up my Initiate LE V3 lol.

*usually* the plastic guarded switched are just press-fit in.. they can be tricky to get out sometimes.. just go slow and be patient.. others have mentioned using some tape around the switch to help prevent scratching when you are prying it out.
