Has anyone bought the fire orange color if so what blade do you recommend to use with it for the best look. I love the orange but I don't want to have a color that's not going to look good after I buy it. So any info would be great on this.

Gets back to personal preference, and for me, I think oranges & yellows look the best with std MG (mid grade) or HG (heavy grade) blades and FO (fire orange) definitely looks better with MG...... UE (Ultra Edge) blades make these colours look pastel and a bit washed out.......

Also, I haven't seen TRI-FO with my own eyes yet, but if it creates a fuller colour blade it should be well worth the extra $10.....

cheers  Smiley

EDIT : I have FO and PO (Pyrestone Orange) and a custom "blood orange" also..... to me the blood orange is by far the brightest and most satisfying orange I've seen..... Its a custom colour using an RGBA LED wired to R+A only and Emory did this for me at the same price as a forum colour, I'm guessing he'd do one for anyone who asked..... Drahcir has seen this colour too and did comment how much he liked it..... The pics here http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=24643.msg375212#msg375212 are this orange with a MG blade...... cheers  Smiley

I agree with JediXIX.  I prefer yellows, oranges and reds with the standard blade, not the Ultraedge blades.  But as he said, personal preference.  There are others who think those colors look better in Ultraedge.  You could buy a grab bag blade of whatever kind you don't get with your order so you can decide for yourself.  As for the fire orange color itself, it is not as bright as some of the other colors but it is still a very nice color in it's own right.  I can't comment on the tri-LED's as I don't have any of those yet.

I'd back what the others said for the most part, Sentinel Yellow does benefit from an ultraedge just because i feel like the colors mix better in it.
Again it's all personal preference though - for any orange I'd recommend the standard blade.

And I can confirm that JediXIX's "Blood Orange" color is really nice, but is heavily weighted on the red-side. It's super bright too, I know I want it at some point.

I've always heard on here that Fire Orange was the dullest blade color offered - and early returns seem to be that it's the color most improved by the new Tri-Cree setup, so I would say get the $10 upgrade there with a MG blade and you should be happy.

Winning? Is that what you think it's about? I'm not trying to win. I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It's not because it's fun. God knows it's not because it's easy. It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind! It's just that. Just kind.
