I think this one is possibly bait.  We assume this could be a big moment talking to Rey, but it may just end up being a random villain comment made to either Gleeson's General or the Supreme Ruler. Standard Villain moustache twirling stuff.

Maybe more bait - it seems obvious this is to Rey, but I think it could be to the mysterious character played by Max Von Sydow - rumored to also be a Junker on Jakku.  (My theory has always been he was a Padawan that survived Order 66 but stayed in hiding during the Rebellion.  He's about the right age for that to be plausible.)

Sydow being a Padawan is a theory I like a lot.  But if we look at his age in real life (86)  Subtract the 50 or so years from the Fall of the Jedi..he would have been in his 30s...old enough to at least be a Knight if not a Master.

It's 55 years (I checked Wookiepedia!) but I figure it's The Movies - close enough to not matter.  Relative to Mark Hamill, he's about 22 years older which makes more sense when you look at it that way. 

Perhaps he approached Luke after RoTJ.

And perhaps if Rey is a Skywalker, Luke asked Old Max to play Obi Wan and watch over her on that Desert planet they stashed her away on . . . for reasons I guess we find out in December.

JJ basically confirmed we will recognize the last names of Rey and Finn when we hear them, so it will be interesting to finally find out their lineages.

Yea  I just finished Aftermath and literially have more questions than answers....not to keen on these new books really. The writing just doesn't....fit..star wars to me.  It really rips me out of the immersion when I read a Star Wars character say "True That, True That."

Wasn't "the last of the Jedi", hmmm..... Is that a direct reference to Luke only?

Pretty sure just Luke! They have said there is no new Jedi Order at this point.

Luke did set up a new Jedi Academy of sorts, something really bad happened and here we are, with Luke being the only "real" Jedi left again.

I am very curious about the scavenger quote. I keep wanting to think that rey and kylo are siblings, but this quote is making me think otherwise. Maybe she has the force too? or Maybe it is about Max Von Sydow

I guess we will have to wait and see
