Right now I'm torn between the dark Warglaive the Archon and the Malice round black/silver pomels.

Pics of the ones you can buy separate are all on this page:

If you have Sound - I'd reccomend the Manticore Low Profile for an LE.  The Sound REALLY rips with that one on a v4 Saber.

Beyond that - my overall fave for the v4s is the Catalyst / Dark Catalyst.

It really extends the natural lines of the v4 hilts nicely.

Winning? Is that what you think it's about? I'm not trying to win. I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It's not because it's fun. God knows it's not because it's easy. It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind! It's just that. Just kind.

Yes! I am looking at the pommels on the US sight and wondering which ones would look the most bad @$$ on the dominex LE? It would be cool if there was an app or something for Ultrasabers saber building! Lol

I have all three of the pommels you're interested in and have sound tested them against each other. To my ears, I don't notice any appreciable difference. Looks wise, I would recommend the Malice round pommel for your Dominix LE v4. That being said I should give you some warning that it does have some very sharp edges.

I was going to recommend the regular Malice pommel as well.  Had to use a finer round edged file to soften the sharper edges and then applied some non-sharp spikes for both look and additional protection from the edges.  Here's a photo to show you.   The Archon also is nice for an element of badass.  Also a Guardian or Scorpion pommel would look great but extend the saber a fair amount.

Affirmative for that question in my experience.  Here's a v3 Dominix LE with a Guardian pommel.  The best thing about this pommel is that you can take it apart and use the neck to lengthen another pommel or just use the dome base and silver ring ( which can look a bit abrupt but interesting ).

A simple light sanding will generally solve any potential problems with the round Malice.  This pommel is really nice and I would get another.  Not everyone who has one has issues with the window edges.  But I think that either the Guardian or Scorpion pommel on your saber will be awesome.  I have Shocks on all my Aeon/Dominix for general use and display.  You will find that it looks good on other sabers and especially if you end up getting an Initiate length.

What do you think of the Archon pommel? That might look sweet.

The Archon is one that should be in everyone's pommel collection.  Just looks good with most sabers. Perhaps not so good on the Prophecy or tube like sabers such as the Liberator and even the Standard Battle. It is weightier and stockier than your Shock pommel.  Here it is on my v3.  The silver classic one is really nice if you want to further accent the silver.  So many decisions but if you stick with any of the pommels that have been previously discussed, you should be pleased.

Yes. The dark shock does look good. Just wanting to add to my small pommel collection. Heavier would be good, as that would improve balance with the heavy grade blade.

I have been mulling it over for a few days. Thanks everybody for the pics.  Wink
Dauntless seven has swayed me. I think I'm going to order a scorpion pommel next.  Cool
