Hey folks! Slowly starting to go through and review all my lightsabers. First up is a review of the Crimson Scorpion!

Well done review mmertes. Do I understand correctly that you ordered this without the available claw? And is that the reason why the flanged emitter on your Scorpion is smooth all around with no cut out to fit the claw?
If so then for me this is the way to go on the Scorpion line! Without the cut out in the emitter this would make a great head piece on many other MHS hilts. The Crimson Scorpion is my favourite red hilt US makes.

Extremely well done on that review.
I don't own any of the Scorpions so I can't speak on how comfortable it is, but it definitely looks Awesome and having large hands I can see the appeal. The Emerald board is probably one of the best setups to have for at least one saber. +1 for a job well done. Do you prefer to be aligned with the Light or Dark side?

Thank you very much! Yes, I ordered this one without the claw as I knew this saber would be used heavily for dueling and was worried that the claw would just get bashed to pieces or I'd bash someone with the claw. So that is indeed why the emitter is clean. I own a Azure Reaper with the claws and ended up taking them off because I ended up smacking myself in the head during an overhead strike with one of the claws. Ouch.  |

Thank you as well. I have to agree about the Emerald board, it really makes the extra cost worth it, especially if you don't have the space or funds to have multiple sabers. I prefer the light side. |
