Hello everyone.

I was at the dollar twig today and this caught my eye.


I saw it and it looked like it would make a cool tassel for my Archon hilt. What do you think?

I'll reply to this thread as to the reasons why I put pictures of the pieces of a pill bottle on the thread. I was rather surprised myself.

Ya know...that oddly looks kinda awesome! Only thing i'd change is the chain perhaps but even then it looks oddly good! Well done

Personally I'd have it clipped to my belt, but it looks good, almost like it's storing spare parts if your saber is damaged.

OK, I'm splitting this up because I've been trying to share this for hours now and kept having issues. But I'm moving on, and so should you.

As I mentioned in the last post there is a reason why I posted pictures of those pieces.

Two words, blade plug. Here's a bird's eye of the standard blade plug.


If you didn't know already, you can push the middle circle out.
 
 

And this is why I posted pictures of those pill bottle pieces.

If I take the time to, and eventually I will, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to tap the blade plug with the bottle lid. It already screws in just a tiny bit but, as the images show, enough for a good hold. I've screwed and unscrewed it a few times and each time it goes in a little further. I just don't want to risk cracking my blade plug because I don't have a spare.

Anyway, I love blade plugs for some reason and discovering this was just such a nice surprise. And it was $1. I actually have some ideas for the tassel as well and it was while meditating on that I stumbled upon the plug stuff. I went back and bought 4 more. Maybe another plug treatment and some extras in case I ruin a making the enhancement I want to the tassel. I just wanted to share the info of a sweet blade plug cap for a buck.

Sweet, thanks Antron!  I was frantically searching to no avail n watching as the last bar of life drained from my phone lol!  My searches weren't even bringing it up.  I've seen a lot of cool new custom plugs so this, and the bump to the thread, is very good idea- will send you point asap Smiley.
