Personally, I would not buy a thin necked hilt, although they look beautiful, other than to keep it on a shelf or taking pics with it.
I have ZERO plans on dueling with it, purely for enjoyment! |

TCSS has one, as do a few other vendors, but only one that I found had the metal "tabs" on the inside of the clamp ground off. I don't have a dremel, and I didn't feel like filing them down by hand, so I went with the one that had them removed already! |

I know these vendors you're talking about, I just like dealing with TCSS more which was why they popped up in my head first that isn't US  |
