Awesome! My original plan was to do some serious mods to the Fallen, but that hilt is just so... right. Unfortunately, it is trapped in my office at work, while I am quarantined at home. I forgot to grab it that last day before we shifted to work-from-home and now it is tucked away in my desk where I cannot get it! ARGH! LOL I actually have an idea for that chevron emitter and a custom shroud, still on the fallen, but I need to do some design work. More on that if I can get the prototype designed.... |

Alright, my son's Fallen in AS. I snuck a filter in there as he wasn't into it and so far it's stayed ... winning. I get the point about the taper to the emitter from the larger control box section but, dang I love how this looks.
The stock emitter is awesome tho. The matching knurling on the Apprentice V4 pommel is a nice touch. |

Two out of three saber get's an "I hate you." But I did get a new shiny for the gf. Had to "test drive" it. It's too shallow to hold a blade on this saber, but all this needs is a short extension and like a Reaper pommel and BOOM. Badass curved hilt.   Ow points for that Frankensaber-construction! Looks great. Evil as well. Even more curious of how it will turn out with a Reaper pommel. Crimson Reaper I guess, or a silver one? And about the extension, you're thinking about a windowed one or a closed version? |

Apparently I have a knack for designing evil looking sabers. I'm interested in creating proof of concept. After much study and drooling over Dooku's saber, I realized that the only true curve is in the emitter. So technically his saber merely has an angled emitter via a curve, and an angled pommel. It doesn't actually have a "curve".  Alright, my son's Fallen in AS. I snuck a filter in there as he wasn't into it and so far it's stayed ... winning. I get the point about the taper to the emitter from the larger control box section but, dang I love how this looks. The stock emitter is awesome tho. Nice collection. It's growing rapidly! Thanx. I think the growth is gonna slow for now. My oldest wants to order a Fallen with Premium sound and I wanna get a MB for my youngest, but other than that I think we are done. I certainly have all the sabers I'll want for the foreseeable future. Might get some more accessories, particularly Lee filters or a day blade for my wife's saber once she picks a color for her saber. - |
