My sabers finally arrived yesterday, after stupid Fedex trying to tell me they weren't coming until the first week of May. Had to change to a delivery depot and go pick them up. Luckily one was near enough to only be a minor inconvenience, but well worth getting the sabers a full 2 weeks ahead of their estimate. Anyway, here's the link to the album I made, and I'll detail them a little bit in the post here:

Yes, I really like the dominix hilt and ordered a bunch of them. It kind of worked out oddly though. My brother's pair were the only two ordered with the upgraded button, but they all came with it. I can only assume whoever built them saw the huge pile of them with different colors and just started throwing hilts together as fast as they could. It wasn't exactly what I ordered since now my adegan silver ones are the odd pair out, but I'm certainly not going to complain about getting six upgraded buttons. The dominix v2, Initiate v4 with sound, initiate v4 (green one), and both standard issues were some combination of my free initiate, grab bag, mystery box and the pair of mystery box sabers I ordered. I can say for certain that the one with sound and the dark standard issue are the ones I ordered because they both had the heavy grade blades I requested for my mystery boxes.
Being that there were so many sabers in the order, I can tell there was a but of a rush job on them, scratches, left over glue residue and some uneven blade lengths. Most of it was easily cleaned up with a little effort, and scratches don't bother me because my sabers will earn their weathering through use. It's just a touch of a head start is all. I will say I am a bit disappointed with my frankensaber though. It has threads visible on the coupler used to add vents to the body, because the body segment attached to it was cut way too short. That cut was also left uncleaned, and has visible aluminum shards sticking off it. I actually already cut myself once trying to clean it up a bit. Those threads were very dirty as well, and some of the parts do not want to unscrew at all. That is unfortunate for me, because at the very least I want to get that exposed bit apart so I can use some of my files to gently clean up that edge so I don't risk further injury just handling it. It looks cool, but definitely needs some work before it could ever hope to be anything other than a wall display piece. That being said, the only real complaint I had about it was the exposed threads and that sharp edge. I might order some new parts and further modify it to make it even longer and crazier.
