Hi, I've just reveived my first saber and I have a problem : I can't unscrew the pommel to access the battery and the soundboard !  Undecided
someone had any tip to help me ?

I would suggest a wrench or channel locks with rummer grips only to try to unscrew it. Or possibly two rods in the sound holes then a wrench applied close betw3n them. If you choose the rods be VERY careful to not let them in far enough to touch the speaker if you have sound.

Sometimes a friend or family member has a strong, firm grip.  If this is the first time removing, there may be some small grit or shavings in the threading.  Give it a good wipe out following, and it should get easier to screw on and off the more the pommel is used.  Let us know how it goes.   Smiley

Thanks for quick answer! I will try with a wrench, just to be sure : to unscrew I must turn counterclockwise rigth?

I just recently got my Manticore, and had a really tough time when I first tried removing the pommel as well.

I just kept trying...no tools...I figured: "This is supposed to happen", and eventually I got it.
