Obsidian Software and/or USB recognition Malfunctioning?

Hello guys,

Just recieved my Guardian, i want to change sensitivity but the saber is not recognized by my pc (win 7 64bits) it tells me that it doesn't find the drivers :/

My usb port works, it doesn't work if i open obsidian first or after, don't understand where's the problem.

Hey there just thought id share a stroy of my own that i think fits your problem perfect.
i have windows 7 on my pc and had that same problem with a phantasm v3 staff. i spent soooo much i was expecting it to be perfect and after a month it still snt;) will be tho soon;) the usb port not recognizing it is thje exact situation i had and all i had to do is contact deep. ([email protected]) and told him. he promptly told me i need to send it in for repair. i did and he is fixing it up, well was, it shippiied out a few days ago and should be home any day:) long story short, just email Deep and ask for a usb repair and he will probably say ship it back and ur problem will be eliminated:)

You probably shouldn't have to ship it back, don't worry.  You can contact Deep, but it's likely an issue with the software or your computer, not the saber.

the way he describes the problem it seems like my issue and mine had a problem with the actual usb on the saber and it needed a full replacement.

Turn your saber on before connecting it to your computer.  Let me know if that works.

Ok my explanation (maybe usefull for other Frenches) : as a French customer i didn't have an adaptator for the surge battery so i take my french alcaline battery reloadable but i think there was not enough power to work well, today i bought the adaptator fr/us and after loading it works fine with your lit-ion batteries reloaded.
