Oh.  My.  Gawd.  I just saw this go up on the store, and I am in LOVE with this saber!  If you haven't seen it yet...

It's AMAZING!!! Long have I dreamed of the double choke point style, and IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!  MY FAVORITE GRIP EVER HAS JUST ARRIVED AT ULRASABERS!!!!!  Ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod!!!!!  Thank you Ultra, Emory, and everyone else there!  (passes out from excitement)

So... now that we know my point of view, what do you guys think of the Initiate V3?

Yeah I saw it when I was poking around their youtube channel an hour ago and my Jaw Dropped to the floor. This is probably the cheapest route to get a staff with Sound. (Something of which I will be looking at in the future).

Well since it can get sound you can change the button which is a huge thing for me (i hate the standard button, always jacking up my palm on spins ) Is this the first one that isn't priced at the Obsidian Inductee price? Otherwise looks like a pimp shoto

I imagine all the inductee priceing will be going up.  And even at the new prices, it's "still-a-deal-Lucille" on their sabers     I was browsing elsewhere for a comm link when I came across a site that said their custom sabers ranged any where from 250.00-450.00, and if you wanted sound it was an additional 200.00.

Well.....there goes my plans for ordering a Archon V2 in November ! The Dark Initiate V3 fits my style of dual weilding perfectly! Not only does it have a choke point at the emitter end, it also has one below the switch. I like to spin into reverse grip for a series of reverse gripped strikes! Then add sound to it? I'll be ordering a Phantom Initiate V3 in AS With sound in bolth in November now, unless I decide to order them seperatly.hopefully by then they will relase a LE version!

The funny thing is, I was literally just contemplating my best option for an off-hand saber with sound.  Will of the Force?  I think so.

really nero? i was thinking about the archon v2 with the war glave emitter in sentinel for off hand hmm it sound good...                 @vex over the archon v2 ? i think not who knows ultra may let you do some mods to it?

Yeah, this this thing is straight up hot. I LOVE my son's Initiate and the addition of those choke points looks, and must feel, great.

Wow this saber looks sexy as hell!I like me a saber with some curves and the fact that its only a few bucks more than the V2's, it can hold sound and is compatible with mhs pommels is crazy!

It's not a matter of mods, the DI V3 hilt is 9" long , the Arcon is 11.3" long. I wanted Initiates to dual Weild with because my Dominix(I used in the vid I posted to the forum) are a bit too long at 12". I have my customized Consular for single saber weilding so I can hold off on the Archon V2. The DI V3 will work great fir me!

@Vex:  I had the same thought.  I've been eyeing the Initiate as an off hand or even just single handed saber for a while, but wanted another Obsidian saber too.  This kills two Sith with one stone!

Now I just gotta figure out which finish to get... what do you guys think, would the silver or black look better with Sentinel Yellow?

Thanks Shal!  I like the silver too, it's pretty nice.  I think I'll just retract my question and make a new thread, don't mean to derail this one.
