Umm, I believe they are referring to the blades we are already familiar with....

I assume so, otherwise there would've maybe been an announcement or two....

What is the difference exactly between the puckpuck and the resistor battery pack? And also what is the difference with the pointed tip and the rounded tip of a blade?

What is the lead time with the saber tips? It says increased time with the pointed tip and the rounded tip normal. Could someone please explain.

Ultra doesn't stock the pointed tips, so it'll take longer for your saber to ship if you request the pointed ones as he has to wait for them to arrive.

Since the latter question was answered, I'll answer the buckpuck question by pointing you here:

Long story short, buckpuck provides a more efficient energy usage.

Whats the best heavy blade for Fire Orange? Now seeing a good review I'm thinking of aiming for a Fire Orange Arbiter, a heavy blade if it'll work, and Obsidian with red av button and li-ions. Thanks for the info.

FO is best in mid grade by far, from what I've heard.

This is also stated in the original post....

It's true, FO doesnt appear as bright as some of the others so midgrade will probably be the best choice.

Doesn't Ultraedge also wash out its color? At least that's what I heard.

It kinda does, although the regular/Ultraedge comparison is a little bit subjective... some prefer one, while some swear by the other.  I personally wouldn't recommend FO in Ultraedge, but that's just my opinion.

I'm going to be buying the guardian hilt with guardian blue in the next few weeks. I want the brightest blade possible, and from what I understand the best blade for that would be the ultraegde. Is that correct?

The Ultraedge isn't more or less bright than a regular blade, it just gives the blade itself a different look.  For a brighter blade, you want to make sure you get the lighter, mid-grade blades (either regular or UE).  The heavy grade blades are slightly less bright due to the fact that they have a thicker wall to them.
