I was fortunate enough to order a saber during the free 'initiate' giveaway promotion. Turns out the Apprentices were included in the 'initiate' giveaway. I received a Dark Apprentice v4 with vent windows.  As I already had the LE version, I thought about trying to sand off the black in order to create a mirror image of the DA LE. Here's my attempt. I ended up sanding to the edge of the emitter, and I opted to leave the choke point black.  I'm thinking about naming them Hope and Despair, and maybe joining them as a staff eventualy. Any other suggestions or thoughts? |

Nice! I really like the reverse LE version--nice job sanding out those grooves on the grenade grip. I think hope and despair are sweet names for the pair. Point to you.

Outstanding. That looks fantastic. I thought about doing this with a Dark Sentinel, but ultimately wound up ordering a standard Sentinel.
