spinning is real nice! with the initiate blades that first spin must seem real easy. i'm still trying to get that one down its a little hard with 2 different weights of sabers. looks like they move pretty fast too.
sometimes to show off the color in a blade i get up real close with the camera or i turn down the brightness setting, that might help a bit. then again we did discuss that the light is a bit more intense in initiates due to it being a shorter blade.

Haha true. Though sometimes being a little tipsy actually helps, it loosens you up lol.

Nero and I have considered this style of fighting. It can be legitimate, but not in the Jackie Chan style (If you don't know what I mean go watch Drunken Master. It's a great movie.)
Cheers.

Of course I've seen it! I mean I don't want people to get hurt., but I would like to see a real life application and someone get their butt beat with it.

The real power of such a style is in not actually being intoxicated. Mimicing that state will put the opposition off their guard giving the user an advantage. Then the ability to seemingly escape the attacks "by luck" (in my experience, there is no such thing as luck) and then suddenly opening up with good pure technique and obliterating someone. So the "Drunken" part SHOULD be an act. A truly intoxicated individual shouldn't stand a chance.

I get that. It's the same reason Drunk people survive accidents, their body is so loose it just rolls with the hits. The acting drunk, like you said is distracting but it's also irritating, because this guys is acting all goofy while im trying to beat him down. lol
