Dark Prophecy with Tri Cree Arctic Blue

Got another Saber!  I took advantage of the 10% promo, used my rewards points and some bonus cash from work and voile!  The Dark Prophecy V3 with Tri Cree Arctic Blue and an illuminated RED silver AV switch and Obsidian V4 Sound is mine!  I'm really loving this combination of parts.  It's very light weight compared to my last saber purchase, the Electrum Wind, of which I have nothing but AWESOME feelings about (love that one, too!), but this is definitely my first TRI CREE LED where my Electrum Wind was Emerald, and it's a very noticeable difference in brightness, and the new Tri Cree Arctic Blue is just beautiful - even outside while there is still daylight!

I started to do a video review and didn't like how it went, so here are some pictures instead.  I'm using a Consular pommel instead of the open Prophecy pommel for now.  I've also put on an Archon V3 pommel, but I definitely like the Consular on there better:

Thanks. It really pops that Tri Cree Arctic Blue does, I love how it stands out, and I loved the look of the red light on a black hilt.  It reminded me of a regular red button, and it gave that "darker" look.  I claim to be a "grey Jedi" too, so it just felt right together with the AB blade color.   Thanks for asking.

Yeah? Heh, heh, I'm so glad, guy! You should definitely get one now while they're doing the 15% off.  Deep said there hasn't been a discount like this in over a year.  At first I was wishing I had bought the regular silver prophecy, but now I'm really glad that I got the Dark Prophecy in the set up.

By the way, would you say that the color looks a bit greeny, I mean more green than the regular Arctic Blue?? Cause I think that 2 diodes are blue, and 1 is green, and there are not 3 of a same light blue color... Any way, the regular AB is 2 diodes, 1 blue and the other green, so having 2 blues and 1 green would make a more bluer color...

First, awesome looking Dark Prophecy!  Gave you a point for the great pictures.

These pics reminded me how hard I was crossing my fingers to get one in Blue as my 3rd place prize last Raffle.  (I got a Dark Sentinel LE in Blue which has become my favorite stunt saber so it still worked out awesomely!)

That TRI Arctic Blue looks spectacular.

I like the hue quite a bit more than the standard, which is a bit pale in person with an UltraEdge blade.

I've REALLY wanted this for ages.

I appreciate you trying the different pommels, but personally, I think the Sentinels & Prophecies look the best with something low profile and really wish there was another black anodized option aside from the default V Series Pommel.

Don't really care for the knurled pattern on it and a vented bottom as opposed to open would be nice - so a Dark Manticore Low would be ideal.

Beautiful Dark Prophecy I just love black hilts. I am ALL ABOUT contrasting AV switches I appreciate the character it brings a lightsaber, and the red one is my fav. Of course a matching switch is also a classy option too.
