My Overlord

[Hansrad]

Last month I finally got the my Overlord. This is the one I've wanted since I started coming to the site, but always got pushed back for some reason or other. It's got the Obsidian V4 sound board and I've had in in Blackstar pretty much since I pulled it out of the box. It's an RBGA Emerald. The blade is set with a slow pulse between DVA and VA, wth a Bane's Heart flash. Looove the Bane's Heart Flash. I added the Manticore high pommel to balance out the look and the feel of the saber. I like the idea of the two silver ends with a sleek black center. I added a dring to the pommel, since I removed the Covertec wheel. I've got a temp solution for the Covertec's hole, but will hopefully come up with a better solution in the future.I got  a black non illuminated av switch, so it'd kind of blend in with the hilt. Lastly, it has a recharge port, for which I got a plug to cover it when not using. For a decent size saber I can't get over how light this saber is. My Manticore feels massive next to it.

Can't tell you how much I love this saber. It was definitely worth the wait.

Thanks. I made it myself.  Keeps them from laying around everywhere. Also I keep my allen wrench there so I don't have to search for it all the time.

Man, that is so nice.  I really love that Manticore pommel on there.  You're right, it does balance the color better than the short Overlord pommel.  The D-Ring looks like it fits perfectly between the sound vents too. 

Also, nice pic of your collection.  Did you make your display stand?  That's really nice.

I'm liking that got the RGBA Emerald.  I don't have one those, but hear it makes great reds and oranges. 

Those colours look fantastic together.  I really like the BH flash.  Fits wonderfully.

Hi.  This is a beautiful saber with the sleek lines that I can fully appreciate.  Nice simple kill key and the extra light from the blade plug looks so good.  The D-ring looks very sturdy and compliments that pommel.  You have a really nice saber collection in multiple blade colors which for me, makes it better.  Your photos showing the distinct 3 colors are some of the best.  All crisp clear photos.

I was a little concerned how tall the kill key was at first but I've found that when I grip it it works nicely between a couple of fingers or just ahead of the grip. As to the clear photos, they're probably the best out of the 20 I took. Getting a good one for the flash color was a bit of a challenge.
