When you were going through all the features in your video and explaining your choice of color for the AV switch, I also wanted to go with a white illuminated, black AV switch. Your final color choice for your sabers look superb with the red illuminated, black AV switches. I also will be going with the black finish for the activation box, plus gold for the top button and black for the bottom button. I know exactly what I want to put into each saber and will save up to make it happen.

Red AV switch - it's the most attractive IMO and is my favourite.

2" blade depth is quite good and will serve just fine.

Thank you for the pic of the side of the hilt with the long v-groove I was going to bother you for a pic of that.  Just love that feature and thats prob my fav part of the these weapons.

And I was going to say it was a very fitting comparison to bring in the Graflex as that is Ahsoka's master and obviously the bunny ears on the Fulcrum are inspired by Anakin's lightsaber . . . Master and Padawan side by side very cool.

Very well done review LB! I was initially going to purchase the Lost Gray as my raffle entry but decided to get the Manticore I had been looking at for a long time. Alas, I did not win anything but your review at least helped me to decide on the Lost Gray for my next purchase whenever that is

The Manticore is awesome. I love both versions and in fact just chose the Manticore CE for the grand prize saber I won. One thing is for sure... UltraSabers makes it possible to get the saber you want eventually.  So many deals and customer appreciation gestures like reward points and raffles. It'll be in your hands soon I'm sure.

Thanks for the info on the depth a which the blade sits.  My only possible concern for these sabers were that they might be shallow and not hold the blade well, particularly the Lost Gray being a shorter hilt.  At approximately 2 inches within the holder/emitter, this would not be a problem at all.

Yes,  thank you for the review. I will probably hold off on the Lost Gray in hopes they come out with a lime green color down the road. I love to try to copy the real deal.

Yay Accessories! That's a pretty nice haul there. They both look fantastic. Love the goove along the side. Really curious what they look like under the shroud. Those are some really great pics you took. They showcase the sabers well. Thanks.

I need to sort out what bits and pieces to order for my next round of summer projects, with the base rule of "order nothing that is not in stock".  This, however, hampers my plans for a light side version of Hauke, since the hilt I want to use for the base of this one is...out of stock.  Bleah.

I would get quick disconects, and try both. I have both colors, but not in Tri cree, and since the Tri AB is a new AB, I wondered if I would like it better than the standard. If I had to choose between standard GB and standard AB, Id preffer GB, since I think AB looks a bit too clear or pale. Don't know if the new tri AB looks deeper, if so, I would give it a try...

I agree, I always get QD if I'm not getting Emerald, and of course, if the hilt will offer it. I have the regular GB, TRI GB and TRI AB, and I personally think the TRI AB is a very full, deep beautiful blue, and I heard, too, that the TRI AB had been re-released.  I've purchased two of them so far and would have gone for a third on my Lost Gray, but thought the TRI GB would work the best with my photon blade. For the Archon 2.1, one of my raffle entries, I decided to go with SRD with QD, but I may decide to get an TRI AB with QD to alternate on that hilt.  They're both fantastic colors.

The GB on its own is pretty bright, and the TRI GB adds a bit more fullness, but only about 20% more brightness.

On a side note... I must say that I am really liking the 32 inch blade length! I've been using 36 inch blades from day one, and with the Fulcrum in 32 inch and the Lost Gray in 30 inch, I was lovin' it!  I may be a convert now.  I have a LOT of 36 inch blades now, but the 32 inch has really grown on me in the few days I've had it. I see 32 inch blades in future orders, whenever that may be...

Thanks for sharing your opinions and thoughts. It seems tri AB is a favourite for you. I have a tri CG, and Im going to get the tri always. I got my wife's in AB cause they didn't have the Tri option for the color then, and my Guardian in GB was a second place prize. So, yeah, will probably go for the Tri AB first on my next saber after this, since you said it's full and deep, I'll purchase the tri GB mls unite later on anyway...thanks again, +1
