My two new sabers

Hey everyone I am purchasing two new saber for my collection. First one will be the dark initiate v4 with a open window emitter blazing red color with three yari pike extensions one flush coupler with vents and to so non vent flush couplers and rubber cap for the end. Second on will be a flamberge saber and a dark initiate v3 two yari pike extensions two flush couplers with vents and one flush coupler without vents to make the cross-guard pike. as soon as i have them in hand i will have pictures for all.

Should is assume this is for that awesome Fanfiction Saber? If so glad to see real progress, also are you using full sized blades for the two I assume would be coming out of the flamberge?

on the cross-guard all three blades will be 24'' and the same for the dark initiate v3

So this was a little change in design for the first saber built, instead of the dark initiate v4, i am using  Dominix LE v3. Cutting down to two yari pike extensions and for the couplers, i am using the one sliver finish flush with vents and one without vents to copy the look of the look of the saber itself. Same will go for my second saber build with the cross-guard pike combination.

I am in a rut, i am having a hard time choosing do i want to make my fan art saber or make my emerald saber. Please help me choose because i cant take this battle

What do you plan to use this saber for?

I've seen your fan art, and it's a cool looking saber, but it's entirely impractical because of its massive size. If you're planning to only make the thing to have for cons, pictures, or something like that, then go for it. You'll stand out.

If you're planning to duel with it, well, good luck with that. I hope you don't run into anyone with good, quick blade control and knows how to get inside and close, because they'll eat you alive.

If you plan to take it apart to duel with it, then go for it.

If you want a practical saber that pulses and changes colors, then go with the emerald.

I just always ask myself how I'm going to use the saber, and then I get one that meets those needs. That's me, though.

The fan art one is just for show and cons and display. My Dark Standard Issued Battle Sabers are my dueling sabers and my sabers staff is for very light contact and show. But I feel like i would disappoint people who i have made a promise to, but then having an Emerald is like the god of god light saber.

Perhaps you can make the entire bottom section of your fan art saber on its own an attachment in whatever colour you already have, save some extra money on buying the top half single bladed sabre, and put that now extra money towards an emerald while still having the attachment to turn an already complete saver int your fan art one....

Why are you worried about disappointing others? Are they helping you buy the thing? It's your money. Get what you want.

This saber purchase i am not making myself, it is my family who is purchasing for me as a gift for christmas. This is why i am having a hard time decision on what i want to get, the fan are is all stunt sabers. The Emerald is for show cons heavy dueling and everything.

Ah. I see. I'd say get the one you'll get the most out of. There is price, and then there is cost. Price is what you pay, and cost is what you get out of it.

If you think you'll get more milage out of an emerald, then go that route, and vice versa.

okay so i have made up my mind, since there is a flash sale on the Manticore Sabers, I am going all out on it. then over time buy piece by piece of the fan art saber making it easier on me.

Also of the wishlist sabers which is my fan art that i am working on. The cross-guard saber will not be blue like the art itself I am thinking of just making blazing red because i already of the pike version all i need now is jus the cross-guard and the 24" blades.
