Huzzah for new furniture! I'm going to see the new Captain America today, then running my D&D Campaign at 7/8ish.
In other news, my friend who kinda lead me on has a cute friend. Holding off on that, though, as she just got out of a (admittedly short) relationship. I don't wanna be "that guy", and I certainly don't wanna be the rebound guy. Also, for some reason I dreamed about Nirvana. Just songs by Nirvana.
Smells Like Teen Spirit especially and I'm not sure why.

Because she's cute, and I'm sure if we hung out we'd be fantastic friends. But Until I know *her* better, that's all I want to do. Be friends, be nice to her, show her she's worth something, y'know? Help her out of a dark place right now.

I had a girlfriend who shot me, and and one that tried to steal my stuff, and one who dumped me through FB, and one that "forgot to tell me" and picked up several guys and couldn't understand why I was so upset.

Especially since Texas does not recognize "separation". Yeah, well nothing has happened between the two of us, thankfully. I say thankfully because there's a 4 year old child involved. So my thing is that, right now, I am going to be a friend, and that's it. I'm not getting in the middle of that, especially if there's a potential custody issue. I'm just hoping that whatever happens, she ends up happy. However, I also hope she realizes that if her husband left her before and she takes him back, it's possible that it could happen again. |
