I agree. If a child keeps breaking a toy lightsaber why buy them a really expensive lightsaber? I wouldn't let anyone not in costume handle my lightsaber, let alone a child.
So, even if I'm carrying around my own, and I'm not in costume, you wouldn't let me handle your Lightsaber? I agree with Iram, just being in costume wouldn't be enough for me. |

Im just trying to make my son happy before i leave and the most i could see him breaking on one of these is the blade and from what ive read they are pretty sturdy

I've let other people have a play with my lightsabers before now, comes with the warning "break it I break you"......nah I just stay right next to them ready to snatch it back/rugby tackle them if they try to run or seem like they might be about to bust it but these things are pretty dam durable |

but these things are pretty dam durable
I would reluctant to let anyone handle my lightsaber for that very reason. My reasoning about the costume part though is i assume muggles (non-geeky non costumed people) won't be aware of Ultrasabers and how expensive they are. And like you, I have no problem rugby tackling them if they damage it or try to run off with it. |

So am I, that's why I drink Lactaide. It's real milk with the Lactase Enzyme added to it; it is a godsend. It's good that you have something you like. There's a lot of food allergies out there, and sometimes it's hard to find substitutes. Fortunately for me, to the best of my knowledge, the only food I'm allergic to is bananas. It's not the "swell up and die" kind of allergy, it's the "my body will purge every last trace of every last molecule of it from my system through EVERY method possible, sometimes all at once" kind of allergy. It's highly unpleasant. |

So you're saying all I have to do is wear a costume and you'll let me use your lightsaber  ? Jokes aside, I'd probably be okay with giving a 6-year-old a stunt but not a saber with sound. My five-year-old son has two V2 Initiates. He's fine. |
