Like I said, I wrote these a while ago, and was really bored - clearly.

Clearly our good major went to the "Tim Taylor School of Over-clocking and Subtlety" 

I like them LR; reminds me of "Monty Python's Flying Circus"   I even have a mental image of John Cleese playing the Major, the rest of the boys in various parts (although I think Michael Palin would be perfect as the hapless driveway shoveler  ).

I never wrote it, but thought that "The Major" met his demise when a guy asked him for help lighting a cigarette - in Texas.

Totally agree with Dutchman.  Those could have easily been Monty Python sketches.
